The Hammond organ, reimagined.

BIOGRAPHIE

Olivier Madore-Millette is a Québec-based jazz musician, organist, pianist, composer and arranger, who stands out as one of the most distinctive voices in today’s Canadian jazz scene.

A master of the Hammond organ, he creates a vibrant sonic universe where jazz, soul and funk meet, driven by an approach that is both expressive, accessible, and deeply rooted in groove. On stage, his inhabited playing and musical sensitivity create an immediate connection with audiences, reaching far beyond traditional jazz circles.

With his sextet, he released the album Live at Ste-Angèle, critically acclaimed and named Best Album of 2024 by sortiesjazznight.ca, confirming the strength and relevance of his artistic vision.

In 2017, he founded the Pulsart Trio, a unique ensemble bringing together organ, vibraphone and drums. The group quickly made its mark on the Canadian scene, earning two GAMIQ nominations (Jazz Album of the Year) as well as the Grand Prize for Emerging Artists at the Festi-Jazz de Rimouski.

Highly active on Québec City’s music scene, he is also the creator of Dimanche Orgue Jazz, a concert series that has featured over a hundred artists and has contributed to bringing the organ to the forefront of today’s musical landscape.

A new album, La Trilogie des Chiens Saucisses, will be released in late summer 2026, marking a new chapter in the development of his musical universe.

La Trilogie des Chiens Saucisses

Following his album Live au Ste-Angèle, named Best Jazz Album of 2024 by critic Christophe Rodriguez, jazz organist Olivier Madore-Millette returns to the stage with a bold original creation: La Trilogie des Chiens Saucisses (The Wiener Dog Trilogy).

For the occasion, he reunites with his outstanding sextet. Blending organ, saxophones, guitar, drums, and percussion, the group showcases virtuosity, groove, and improvisation in an energetic, lively, and captivating performance.

Behind the project’s playful and humorous tone lies a sincere intention: to celebrate life’s small joys and to share the happiness his dogs bring him in an uncertain world. With La Trilogie des Chiens Saucisses, Olivier Madore-Millette offers a warm stage experience where seriousness and humor meet over a grooving backdrop, resulting in a deeply human performance.
