Jimmy Brière


Recognized by the critic as an accomplished technician and authentic musician, Jimmy Brière has established himself has one of the most interesting Canadian pianist of his generation. He is regularly invited to perform with orchestra, in recital or chamber concerts in the US, Europe and Canada. First Prize Winner of the Hong Kong International Piano Competition in 1997, prize winner of the Porto International Competition in 1996 and the CBC Radio National Radio Competition for Young Performers in 2001, Jimmy Brière has appeared in many cities in the USA, in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Israel. In Canada, he has been heard in many of the most important halls and festivals, like the Lanaudière Festival, the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Festival of the Sound and the Domaine Forget International Festival, among others.
