The duo The Lambert-Chan duo: sisterhood never sounded so good! Without any doubt, music runs in the blood of the Lambert-Chan sisters. As soon as Laurence (age 22) gets behind the piano and Camille (age 16) inspires before blowing a first note into her transversal flute, the audience can immediately sense the powerful chemistry the two promising young artists share on stage. Though Laurence has distinguished herself on many occasions, most notably when she was invited to perform at the world famous Carnegie Hall, her younger sister also has several impressive achievements to her credit. Among other feats, Camille was a guest soloist with the renowned chamber orchestra I Musici de Montréal (as part of the popular concert series Étoiles du futur). The Lambert-Chan sisters decided to combine their talents several years ago and have since made many festival appearances in Quebec, France, and Peru. What’s more, they have shared the stage with the one and only Natalie Choquette. In June 2007, they released a refreshing debut album entitled Un vent d’elles. In a rather jazzy atmosphere, oscillating between modern and impressionistic styles, the duo offers a varied repertoire, with emphasis on the works of French composers. On stage or on recording, the Lambert-Chan duo will lift you to sublime heights of musical delight!
