Quebec countertenor Jean-François Gagné possesses a unique rich-toned voice. His great sensibility makes him an outstanding performer in both baroque and contemporary music. The Angels' Voice

A concert of vocal and instrumental repertoire from the baroque era. The flexible instrumentation offers many combinations to choose from: string trio, harpsichord, lute or theorbo, cello, violin, flute or oboe, piano, organ. Various works by baroque composers, including Bach, Haendel, Vivaldi, Marcello, Brevi, Bassani, etc. If desired, the production can be staged with typical baroque costumes and décor.

Voice and strings

This concert wonderfully combines the voice of countertenor Jean-François Gagné with the tones of the string quartet. The repertoire consists of vocal and instrumental pieces specifically adapted to the instrumentation. Featuring the works of baroque composers such as Vivaldi, Haendel and Pergolesi and song suites by romantic or modern composers such as Reynaldo Hahn, Lionel Daunais or Gavin Bryars. A unique and varied program that is sure to please.
